Guide
Description: Edgar is a melee assassin with a short attack range that deals an insane amount of damage (1080 at level 11) quickly with a rapid reload time. He also has lifesteal, which can prove to be helpful in lots of situations. His super involves jumping onto an enemy and gaining attack speed and movement speed for a short period of time.
How to play Edgar well: Learn how to drift. Although Edgar is very no skill, drifting is also a very crucial part of playing him, as it grants you an actual tile of range. This is most important when versing other assassins or tanks. When playing Edgar, do not jump into brawlers that can counter you. This can include Shelly, Bull, Chester, Gale, or any brawler with an ability that is able to knock you back or deal massive amount of damage close range. Instead, try pick out the weak and vulnerable brawlers such as artilleries and marksmen.Super control: Edgar’s super takes a little over 30 seconds to charge, but only 6 seconds with the Let’s fly gadget. The super is usually used to jump and attack an enemy brawler or escape a dangerous situation. A good tip with the super: when you jump on an enemy brawler, use the lets fly gadget to do a second super in case of any knockback or if you need a quick escape. Edgar also has his hypercharge, outburst, which is best used to teamwipe or kill multiple enemies. It is quite worth to buy as it is a quite effective hypercharge
Gadgets: lots of people choose the gadget hardcore, as it provides a shield which can greatly increase your chances of beating out the opponent. While this gadget is much better in some situations, the lets fly gadget allows you to charge super quickly and possibly chain super. It is especially deadly with hypercharge and you can easily teamwipe with it. The lets fly a gadget is Best used for: Heist, Showdown, Gem grab, Bounty, Wipeout. The hardcore gadget is better used for: Duels, Brawl ball, Knockout
Now you know how to play Edgar with a little bit more skill than before (plz upvote?) :)
Game Modes
Showdown
Charge super and collect power cubes, pick out on the weak brawlers and assasinate them first. Try surprise attack the weak brawlers and make sure they have no time to react. Do not engage in areas where lots of people are fighting
Heist
Jump on the safe with the lets fly gadget and spam auto aim, this will deal huge damage output and the enemy will try stop you. When you are low, either attempt to escape or try deal as much damage output before you die.
Duels
For this game mode, choose the hardcore gadget, as most other brawlers you will be versing will also be assassins or tanks. Put him as the first brawler, as his super charge and dominant power can likely kill the enemy.
